Slime it up!

In Slime it up, you play as a little slime that gets bigger, slower (and higher resolution) as you eat things. This is my first game ever submitted to itch.io, my first project of this kind and also my submission to the 2024 GMTK gamejam!

GOALS

Find the metal Pressure plates around the dungeon and press them to unlock the exit,  eat food to get more health and avoid death, split up to speed up and run from danger, become big and invincible through potions to eat your enemies!

and BEWARE THE KNIGHT! HE KNOWS WHERE YOU ARE AND CAN KILL YOU WITH A  SINGLE STRIKE!

Protip: slime friends drop food if killed, remember to collect it to regain some of your lost size!

ARROW KEYS OR WASD TO MOVE

SPACE TO SPLIT

R TO RELOAD LEVEL

if you get stuck, you can always hit R to reload the room, even if alive.

This one was a big learning experience, I'm glad I got to participate in this year's game jam but good lord, I know what I'm in for next time.
